THE CLIMATE: Kadanzer Weyr is now in the tropics; summers (the dry season) are hot, and winters (the rainy season) are warm and wet, with the occasional chilly night.
For those of you still writing stories backdated to before the move, the old Weyr was very close to the Snowy Waste of the Southern Continent, and did not have the tropical weather so well known, and expected, of the Southern Continent. In fact, the old Weyr commonly had bitterly cold, long winters and only mildly warm summers. While it was a wonderful place to be during the summer, during the winter many weyrfolk would hitch rides north whenever a dragonpair headed that way for some time in the sun and warmth.
